Girls Schedule

Girls registration opens November 2021 and closes January 7, 2022 to accomodate for uniform orders. Teams and practice scheduled announced mid-March before spring break. Uniform orders must be into the supplier by Jan. 7, 2022. Currently some programs are on a waitlist.

The UALA Girls Program aspires to be inclusive regardless of experience and skill level, offering appropriate instruction to all who want to learn the game.

All players are required to have a mouth guard, goggles and a stick.

K-2 Rec schedule for the Sundays at 4pm- 5pm, at Burbank starting March 27, April 3, April 10, April 24, May 1, Sat. May 7 (if needed make up day due to weather)

1-2 Grade Lil Laxers Select: will have tournaments and scheduled practice for one hour Mondays at 5pm-6pm field 1 at Burbank on April 4 and 11, and 25. The lil laxers are invited to join UA LADM practice with the 3-6 graders at Upper Hastings on Wednesday April 20 at 6:00pm, Future practice schedule and game schedule with outside communities like Worthington, Dublin and New Albany TBD


Girls Lacrosse Recreation (Rec) League grades 3-6 details below:

Practice is Lacrosse Athletic Development Model, (LADM) is every Wednesday 6-7:30pm at Hastings Middle School, Upper Fields. Team practices announced after Upper Arlington Spring break and is based on coaching schedules. 

The Upper Arlington Lacrosse Association (UALA) promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect while teaching the sport of lacrosse to players and coaches of all abilities and experience levels. Our goal is to provide Upper Arlington with a single resource that supports all aspects of the youth lacrosse community. The UALA Girls Program aspires to be inclusive regardless of experience and skill level, offering appropriate instruction to all who want to learn the game. All players are required to have a mouth guard, eye protective goggles, and a stick. USA Lacrosse has all the equipment recommendations.

All coaches are volunteer parents who emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork over winning and scoring. In all UALA Recreational games, score is not kept. Your child is assigned to a team after registration is complete. There are 300 girls registered. Please do not contact league commissioner with special requests to have your child play with their friends or for specific coaches. We do not take any special requests this includes carpooling requests.

First Rec Practices begins the week of March 21, 2022.

All players grades 3-6 practice on Wednesday LADM (6pm-7:30pm March 23, 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18)

UALA has adopted the US Lacrosse Development Model (LADM) for all its league offerings. Grades 3-6 practice is twice a week with one practice consisting of a large group on Wednesday division practice broken down by age-level and the other is a recreational team practice. The players will focus on developing core skills through common drills and combined coaching. The second weekly practice are with the player’s Recreational League team and coaches. Players receive equal playing time in all Recreation League Games.

Monday April 4         First Select practice at Burbank Field* 6:00pm -7:00 pm both 1-6 grades. All Select practices at Burbank Monday's 6-7pm through May 30, 2022.

Sunday April 24 Dublin Jamboree Grades 3-6

Reso Shootout TBD (April 30 or May 1) not confirmed 
Saturday, May 7 starting at 8am UALA May Play Day: UALA hosting grades 3/4 and 5/6 schools from Dublin, Gahanna, Hudson, Mason, Pickerington and Worthington.   Game times announced when teams assigned.
Sunday May 22 New Albany Lax Jam Grades 3-6
